We will provide your dog or cat with a safe, comfortable, “home away from home” atmosphere. We are happy to accommodate any special care or needs your pet might have. Just let us know when you make the reservation.
We provide amenities such as clean bedding and food and water bowls, but feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. Toys and other personal items that are washable are welcome. We will administer any needed medication and follow your specified feeding regimen. Alternately, we can provide a high-quality diet for no extra charge, although eating their own food tends to agree better with most boarded pets. We can also provide bathing and toenail trims before you pick up your pet for an additional fee.
Veterinary technicians regularly check on the pets and take them outside. You have the added benefit of knowing that our clinician will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay.
Because we are a full-service animal hospital that sees both sick and well patients, we have requirements for our boarding pets to keep them healthy.
- Canines must have a current on all their vaccinations including rabies, distemper, canine influenza, and bordetella within the last 6 months. Additionally, a heartworm test within the last year, a fecal examination within the last 6 months, and flea and heartworm preventives are required.
- Felines must have current Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV (leukemia) vaccinations, and must be currently taking flea prevention.
*We can provide all of these services for your pet during their stay or you may provide records from another hospital that your pet is up to date.
